Pacific Edge Hotel on Laguna Beach: Guest Testimonials
Wonderful, relaxing stay
This was our first time staying at the Pacific Edge. We had an ocean front King and it was very nice. This is an older hotel, but the room was up to date. The bed was comfortable and with the sound of the waves right outside we slept well. I don't thing you can get much closer to the ocean then right out side the room. Hotel staff were polite and helpfull. The …

Amazing location! You are a stones throw from downtown, you have Gina's pizza, wahoo's tacos, taco loco all in walking distance. You are right on the beach. They have lounge chairs with towels, and the staff was more than happy. 20 dollar parking a day, but I winged it with spots around the corner and quarters in the meter. Rooms aren't amazing, but it feels like you are in your own studio apartment. Kitchenette for sandos and lunch. Stayed 5 days, and was bummed to leave. Recommend highly, only if you can get the $150 and under a night deal.

The Pacific Edge is the definition of ocean front vacationing."
When you go to the beach you want the beach. Out of all the hotels on the beach in Laguna, CA, Pacific Edge Hotel is the only one ON the waterfront, unobstructed views, and best of all - when you go outside YOUR FEET ARE IN THE SAND and the TOWN IS AT YOUR DOORSTEP.

I watched the prettiest sunsets I have ever seen here, woke up to dolphins swimming every morning, and slept like a baby to the loud sound of waves crashing under me at night.
Amazing!
We had an amazing time at Laguna Beach and the stay at our hotel helped make that possible.. everyone was so accommodating and friendly, any time we needed anything.. no questions asked they just sent it to our room for us... Front desk was awesome, you could talk to them forever.. If and when I return to Laguna I will def. be staying here!

Great location and service
I hotwired and got this hotel at a great price. Upon seeing the location, I upgraded to an ocean front. It was beautiful - the crashing waves, watching the dogs run on the beach, watching everyone walk and surf and enjoy the ocean. It was a picture of everything that is great about an ocean front property. You can walk to everywhere and parking is available ($20 per night parking fee). As a travelling women concerned about safety - I felt extremely secure and felt employees were aware and watching out for guests.
This is an older hotel so the rooms are not elegant, but very clean and comfortable. The bed was outstanding to sleep on with a selection of different pillows to choose from.
The best part of this stay - the people! Incredibly nice employees - every employee I came across was so helpful and nice. Really a true statement about service oriented business practices. The folks at Pacific Edge make this a hotel definitely a "return" everytime hotel.

Exceptionally good value for the money. Boutique hotel with a beach cottage type of vibe to it. The rooms have been redone with a more modern but beachy feel - brightly colored aqua walls, clean & crisp white …

I highly recommend this hotel. I work for Hilton Corporation and have the ability to stay at Hiltons for next to nothing. That being said, I found this hotel far superior to my own property! The service, from check in to check out was above and beyond. Friendliness of all the staff from front desk to housekeeping was excellent. The rooms are very clean, beds extremely comfortable and anything we needed from an iron to a coffee cup they had delivered to our room within minutes.
As far as location, you can't top it! We stayed in an oceanfront unit that was perfect!
We travel to California quite often and this will be the place we stay from here on out.
Special thanks to Stacy at the front desk and to the hotel manager Francisco De Anda!
They made our stay and our much needed vacation very memorable.
Thank you all!
